If McMilian is to dry to digest, try starting Trestner's (sp?) *Complete Option Player*.

IMO, after reading 6-8 options books and equal on other investing topics, Trestners book has the best info/readability ratio. It is not a substitue for the meat of Mcmillian or some of the more technical books. But for learning I feal it is best to get a readable overview of the subject to start with, then fill it in with the dry details. Trestner's book has plenty of practical trading advice, theory made easy to understand with understandable, simple math and charts. His computer program, however, is overpriced and slightly flaky -- you can do better with shareware. His old book is a great value, I haven't looked at the new one.

Disclaimer: This review is stricktly as an amature option info consumer.

Good luck (and thanks Robert for all the very valuable posts. I have spent a lot of money on less useful books :) ).
