Here is my take on the new rules to come. (SEC file) It is said that 2/3s of the OTCBB companies
will be delisted to the pink sheets. Well, since 1995 the BB
volume has tripled....there is a huge demand for "cheap" stock. As companies get delisted it will, in
effect, decrease the BB shares available. Just like decreasing the float in a stock. This will force a
growing number of "traders/ investors" of BBs to drive the prices of listed BBs through the roof. Filing may increase the respectability of all OTCBB stocks, possibly allowing higher valuations.
I realize some people will get stung by the delistings, but most of "us" are aware of this rule and own these stocks for minutes to days at a time. The people that create daily volume will go unaffected.
While many are staying away from the BBs, because of the new filing rules, I believe it will prove to
be a GREAT time to be in a reporting BB.
