CWEI closed @ 12 1/2, -7/8, Bid 12 1/8 X Ask 12 5/8....Vol..38.7K

The ex-Rodman, Renshaw analyst, who has now moved to ABN AMRO initated coverage of CWEI with a Hold, citing lower oil prices could bring lackluster earnings over the next couple of quarters, and that triggered a selloff of the stock. Hopefully more insight will be available from CWEI regarding his recommendation. We are now sitting on the 200 day moving average line again. Oil after being up sharply most of the day closed essentially even. The April futures contract closed today which is what has caused the run-up over the last few days.

Oil $22.05, -0.01 (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996)
Natural Gas, $2.00, even (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)

CWEI receives a premium for the liquids in its natural gas, on top of
the stated priced.
