I thought there were other big differences between MMDS and LMDS. For example, MMDS has larger cells which would reduce the infrastructure cost for the service provider, and MMDS is less disturbed by atmosphere. Do you know whether this is true? Do you think there is an advantage to either platform for 2 way comunication? I ran across a note about Zenith choosing Comstream to provide components for their contract of 3 million set top digital (MMDS) boxes in a deal with Americast. This is a big order and seems to show some certainty that MMDS is a viable technology. I doubt the order is for 2 way. It would be nice if it was.
