To all: Talked with Reynolds this morning and, among other things, he said there has been a tremendous amount of interest in "Freak" since the SIFF and especially the Variety review. There have been numerous requests for screenings from distributors, including some very major players.

It was apparent that the private screening process was going to take too long, so NSKY obtained a sales representative connected to Creative Artists, one of the largest agencies in the business, in order to speed the process along.

That agent has arranged for a screening to all those interested in distributing the film -- tonight -- in the screening room of Creative Artists in Beverly Hills. Many distributors are scheduled to be there for tonight's viewing.

Reynolds says this should move the whole process ahead by leaps and bounds. Unlike Seattle, where the public was involved, this limited showing is in direct response to inquiries from distributors who are now very interested in "Freak". They've seen reports from their lower level representatives about public response in Seattle and read the review. Now they want to see it for themselves.

More later on our conversation.
