Mark, to me this says the XCOM deal has not panned out. I can't see any reason to make a committment of this magnitude to Lucent if Crowe saw a reasonable chance of developing a similiar proprietary switch based on XCOM's r&d. We may be seeing a major investment by LVLT effectivly written off. Hope not but there is chapter to this story we have not yet heard. As far as the pairing of LU with LVLT, I guess I am not too surprised. The annual report mentioned LU and CSCO prominently as industry leaders with whom LVLT intended to partner in the course of the network buildout. OT: can you believe what Nacchio has done to QWST?
