Generally speaking I'd agree with the reviews. I like interesting movies with a different twist and this was one of those. Not a high budget movie but interesting characters with interesting story and very good cinematography. And, yes, I agree JTT sucks but for teens he may be a good draw.

After the show, discussion in the tent, was stated that distibution in U.S. probably decided end of next week for distribution in the fall. Expects to be shown in a few major metropolitan areas (NY, LA, SF, Chicago) and if it goes well distribution may expand. I'd expect limited popular appeal but generally very good.

Packed house was generally receptive. Good humor

Very good showing, really. If this is indicative of the type of work done at MVEE, we'll all do just fine, I would think.

I'd probably agree with previous ratings. For a low-budget film, I'd give it a 3-3.5 on a scale of 4.

Haven't seen too many movies lately but I thought "Instinct" sucked (totally predictable) and "Tea with Mussollini" was decent to good.

If I had to choose, I'd recommend SJ over either of those (at least "Tea with M" would be close). Very different crowd.

BTW, Stan Ridgway did the musical score (for those who know).
