Steve, you make the assumption that the debt would be converted, but it won't be until > 53 per share. Therefore it is not a particularly meaningful exercise to assess p/e 's from those facts. Just so you and others are aware under the treasury method of calculating shares outstanding, I found out that they won't include convertible shares into the p/e (shares outstanding) calculation until the price gets close to the conversion price.
