wasn't he hounded and continually under attack by Edison (big believer in DC)

They called it "The Battle of the Currents". Tesla won, but Edison's name is on everything. He also invented the Fluorescent light, and Radio. He won a Patent Lawsuit against Marconi on Radio in '41. He was a real eccentric. Died in the mid '40's
