No need to fight fellows, if anyone wants a box full of clothes just send up the airfreight and state your preference. I live in a modest size town, have for 30 years and lots of folks know me so I'm secure in my reputation and it don't involve "kinky". If I find some really good kids cloths, womens cloths or household stuff at the dump, it goes to the Sally Anne or WEomans shelter, and in winter food to the food bank in town. other stuff goes to other places depending on what I find. (just for the curious the x rated stuff stays where I find it). Now I have also found a lot of good geological samples, gold sdamples from the mines, kimberlite samples etc at the dump when someone throws out their rock collection. A couple years ago some one found a box containing a few thousand worth of jewllery and Ive see gold and diamond rings people have found. Last year I found a four hundred dollar camera and lens that just needed a 65 dollar repair. However, the dump and the column I write is a side line I do. Back to buisness, this may be old news but last year Ekati found a 47 carat stone at their mine and their annual report says they recently found a 67 carat stone. Boy would I love to find one of those when out prospecting and if they found them at the mine their should be a few laying about the tundra. Think about this, if you compare the diamonds Diamet had from drilling and bulk sample with WSP, then WSP comes out ahead so when they start mining I expect some really big stones to turn up. regards Walt |
