Seymore wrote his article before the latest bid was tendered.
You bold faced Seymore's comment:

Are you still confident that he feels the same way? Also,
now that Qwest's stock price has fallen further and the new offer has become just about as attractive to USW and FRO as the original one, what will happen to the stock if Nacchio continues his quixotic quest?
