I'm not sure if I mentioned in that post to ya (I'd go look but gotta go get a cappucinno)but Vacuum tubes are still widely used in guitar amps. My favorite amp is a '74 Ampeg twin that just has killer sound! I will play a tune for someone with Marshall solid state, then play the same tune with the Ampeg and everyone says the Tube amp sounds better. You get a warmer sound. I also hear from Audiophiles that tube amps sound great for home stereos! Hard to find them though.

You mentioned x15. Do you know anything about the x2 (plane)? I wonder if Casey and the boys got the idea (for the modem) from the x2 plane.
The x2 (plane) was suppose to be twice as fast as it'e predecessor.
