You're babbling, but what's new? I think it describes the Clinton "presidency" in a nutshell, when his supporters can only cite Hustler Magazine to validate their arguments on his behalf and against his detractors.
You even got that wrong. In her affidavit to Hustler, for which she was lucratively reimbursed, Gail Barr never said she was forced to have an abortion by Bob Barr. She did talk about an abortion that she had in 1983. She admitted that the abortion was her decision and gave several reasons why she decided to get it, predominantly because of personal health concerns. What Bob Barr was supposedly "guilty" of was that since she was determined to have the abortion, he did not "forbid" her to do so. She had the abortion, but following their acrimonious divorce decided that the abortion was his fault, because he didn't force her not to have it.
It's a non-issue, as is Mrs. Dole's purchases abroad. If you're going to start your 2000 presidential campaigning on behalf of the Democrats already, at least try to find some viable points to contend, not tabloid rumors from bitter ex-wives and the shopping habits of non-candidates.
I know you don't feel this way but most of the rest of the country is looking forward to the time when a non-Democrat president and a Republican Congress can start to undo the damage done to our country by Clinton and start the process of restoring us to a Constitutional government. |
