You know, re AMD, I'm a little puzzled by INTC's strength: It's been downgraded by 3 respected firms in the last week, and they can't kill it. With CPQ soft, AMD warning, is there anything to these concerns?
Also, somebody mind explaining the semiequipment guys to me (AMAT, KLAC, NVLS, etc). They've all rallied 20 points in the last two weeks to near highs, and yet their customers seem soft. What gives?
While I'm rambling, how about RMBS? flat revenues, warning of delayed adaptation of their standard, potential endrun by INTC to something else, and even optimistic royalty forecasts place it's valuation in the Amazonian realm, and it'a mule. Up 100% in two months to near it's year high) (could it be the six million short shares?) |
