Hey guys, I'm new to you, if not new to Almaden and a few other threads.
Here's AMH latest news release.....

The Company has now received all of the gold results from a geochemical soil survey over a nine hundred hectare portion of this roughly 15,000 hectare property about 100 kilometres north of Veracruz, Mexico. A total of 2,829 samples were taken on lines one hundred metres apart over an area three by three kilometres. Background is about 12 parts per billion gold, 985 samples are higher than 25 ppb gold, 113 samples run higher than 100 PB gold and 47 samples run higher than 200 PB gold.

A number of strong anomalies are evident in the data, with the largest being an irregular, arcuate shape and at least one kilometre by one kilometre in its principal dimensions. There are a number of highs within the anomaly over 1000 ppb gold (1000 ppb = 1 gram). Another strong anomaly is developing near the north end of the grid, where one of the last soil samples ran 9,972 ppb gold (9.9 gm) and 2,700 ppb (2.7 gm) gold in a check analysis. These high numbers are believed to indicate coarse free gold in the soils, from a local source. Results are also back for most of the pathfinder elements, but these are not yet plotted. There does appear to be a close correlation of significant copper values, arsenic, and antimony with the gold values.

Geological mapping is in progress, this has found that the anomalous gold values are closely associated with areas of widespread k-silicate alteration and copper staining. Trenching and the digging of pits on a grid pattern will start shortly to follow up on targets indicated. The geochemical grid will also be extended northwards to cover possible extensions to the known highly anomalous values. Drill permit applications are underway.

In a previous press release the property was said to contain seven claims. There are actually five Caballo Blanco claims totalling about 13,300 hectares (33,000 acres) on which title has been granted, and a sixth concession staked in late summer 1966 on which title is pending. This last claim is about five kilometres northeast of the geochemical anomalies.

On behalf of the Board,

Duane Poliquin, P.Eng.
President

I spoke to the company after the release to get an update on other things. The Erika project that was initially to start in Jan. was held up because of paper work, but is a go in about two weeks. It will be two weeks from there before news on this front.
Then the phase two of the Cabello Blanco project will be under-way. This one should start to produce news a couple of weeks after that.
It's good to see that someone else is holding AMH besides myself. I was beginning to wonder.
To quote Bob Bishop before I leave my rather lengthy first posting "A 4 dollar stock waiting to be a 10 dollar stock, and at this price, one of only a few stocks whose price does not have a discovery built into the price yet"
Now thats POSITIVE. We won't have but a month to start to see rewards.
