Like most of the Net and print reviews
your reviewer played the game for 15 mins
and considers that enough time to get
the "feel" of the game.
A good percentage of these guys have
been exposed as paid "shills", i wouldn't
listen to them personally.
The reviews for HG2 by the people that
are playing the game are great. Worst
i've seen so far is 8 out of 10, Half-life
being a 10. There are problem with the
keyboard/throttle configs,and a few
gripes about no Co-op. Otherwise it's
a keeper, the Dark Side Engine is getting
raves, gameplay ditto. Alot of compliments
about how polished the game is, no making
the Qtr release nonsense,they took their
time, and people are actually thanking
the developers. Check for yourself in either
the Action games or Heavy Gear Newsgroups.
I'm still waiting for the Multiplayer
verdict, so far no lag issues but not
enough posts to come to any kind of
verdict.
