Oh puhleeze! Since when is perjury a personal matter? I suppose that Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, etc. were personal matters as well. Each of these raised significant questions and deserved a good hard look. That's all that has happened. All of the investigations were approved by the AG (appointed by Bubba) and a three judge panel. You can spin it any way you like. A crime (perjury) is a crime no matter how you slice it. As for past Presidents, Bush and Reagan survived mainly because they cooperated. JLA
