In an abstract manner of course- in the same way I can "get" any other irrational mental behavior. Seeing Glenn post lengthy and precise essays on why Amazon was a scam headed for bankruptcy, then a few days ago see him literally licking William's virtual feet after "converting" to Amazonity, made it quite clear that many people's convictions are based solely on what is making them money at the time, rather than any semblence of fundamental reality.
