I agree that more of this type of survey re: the securities industry is needed.

I have numerous questions re: this survey's demographics and what questions were asked.

Compare the SIA survey results to the numerous garden variety "Do you plan to take all/some/none of your money out of the bank?" surveys.

Hmmm...Odd, eh?

(Now I realize that the Market Partners' survey was voluntary with a high percentage of respondents coming out of Silicon Investor and csy2k no doubt and the Yankelovich survey was most likely a scientific phone based survey...still 6% planning to exit "seems" low when you consider they found 2% who claim to have already taken some money out...I think that's the real surprise with this survey.)
