How will The Exchange derive revenues? From the release it does NOT sound as if they plan to go to individual billers and provide a bill presentment solution. It sounds as if the biller must still figure out how to create an electronic bill; do it in-house or contract it out. As best I can tell, The Exchange simply acts as another portal of entry to finding one's bills; a new consolidator. How is this any more detrimental to CKFR than Yahoo! saying "We are now consolidating bills electronically!"??? Yet, The Exchange is willing to share these electronic bills with their members. Aha!! Member financial institutions (banks/brokerages/internet portals?) will pay The Exchange for the right to receive and view the electronic bills that The Exchange is able sign-up for itself through all those "business relationships." I think The Exchange banks think they will stay in the loop by holding the key to the critical mass of billers. But the banks want the opportunity to brand! How will they continue to do that if they allow a potential member, such as Banc One, to present bills from The Exchange? Banc One wants to brand the service, not give that opportunity to The Exchange banks.

Just rambling, and trying to make some sense of this
