it's not really complicated.. software takes about 30mins to initially configure (the first time); this is because the installer is registering your specific configurations (remember a cable modem is actually a router and requires LAN network configuration).. back to the main server where every user's logon information is stored based on a user specific ID.. from now on, if I have to reload my hard drive .. i just put in the @HOME CD and select install software.. (there are 2 install programs to be run.. 1 of them loads all the bells/whistles/@HOME assistance stuff)... and when I enter in my customer user ID... it automatically configures my OS and my browser...

short of it is... the first time takes a little while.. but after that.. it's very simple... i didn't get to watch everything but it did look like the software install process could be simplified a bit... but they were very smart in having the person register there install configuration against a USER ID.. so that future reloading of the software can just pull the data off the db and you're up and running about as quickly as your CDROM can load the program ...

maybe I should just shutup before I really confuse you..
