OFF TOPIC, but highly opinionated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine relying on ... Motley Fool!!

Ahem.

The Motley Fool taught me every thing I know about stock valuation. I learned more in my first year from the Motley Fool than I had learned in the previous five years. Every once in awhile I send an unabashed note to Tom and David Gardner, now friends of mine, thanking them for that.

No investment forum can be everything to everyone. The Motley Fool is no exception. But it isn't as if every thing at Silicon Investor is wonderful, either. As much as this is my all-time favorite folder including those I created myself, there are some terrible folders here at SI also.

I still participate in and read parts of the Motley Fool every single business day. I don't have a problem with the rest of the world disagreeing with me, though I have to think at least a smidgeon of the 1,000,000 Motley Fool customers probably agree with me in some small way. But I do have a problem with people implying that because the Motley Fool or any forum isn't good for them, it's gotta be a waste for everyone.

End of sermon. :)
