What is it that makes Man different from all other animals on this planet?

Is it a sense of humor?
NO. It has been demonstrated that some animals do have what we define as "a sense of humor'.

Is it the ability to make war?
NO. Some animals, even insects, make war upon each other.

Is it the ability to communicate through a language?
NO. The animal world is rife with examples of different species languages which we are just beginning to decipher. Some languages, like that of the whales and porpoises, may actually be more complicated than most human languages.

Is it the ability to communicate through a written language?
NO. Some great apes have been taught to communicate through simple writing.

Is it the ability to create and utilize tools?
NO. Other animals employ tools just to survive. Even the anteater creates a simple tool to dine on termites.

Is it the soul?
NO. No proof exists that Man has a 'soul' -- and even if Man does, who is to say that some, or all other animals, don't?

What, then, differentiates Man from the animals about him?
AFTER extensive research and comprehensive observations throughout the world, it has been determined only ONE thing truly separates Mankind from animals: CIGARETTES!

Declare your 'humaness'. Rise above being a mere animal... SMOKE!!!
