Currently the cable guy is spending half his time installing software and hardware at the customer site - the subscription rate could double if ATHM would just out source this. Let the cable guys concentrate on upgrading the cable. In Fairfax County, Virgina, a suburb of Washington, D. C., RoadRunner outsources everything. The subcontractor sends two people. One is a specialist with the cable, drilling holes in the side of the house, etc. The other is a specialist with RoadRunner, installing the software, the modem and the card. --Mike Buckley
