Robert,

I have registered three domain names and am hosting one web site.

ISP's continue to have tremendous growth. However, that growth requires continual capital investment for modem upgrades, new locations, local phone company regulations. Web hosting, on the other hand, can be done at one geographic location. While I reside on the east coast of the US, the user accessing my site is unaware where I am nor that he is actually viewing information stored in Canada.

I believe that with the growing numbers of individuals and small business utilizing the web as a means of having a "world-wide" customer base that companies like NetNation that offer excellent customer service - I am extremely satisfied with their promptness - in fact they even apologized for taking three days (including Saturday & Sunday) to respond to me (at that time there didn't provide customer service on weekends) - can only grow exponentially.

The internet is changing the way we all do our everyday business and as more and more individuals and small business want to be "internationaized" from the comfort of their living room the monthly fee that hosting companies charge is a bargain.

There are lots of good hosting companies out there. I have only tried this one and as long as they provide the service and uninterrupted access to others for my site I'll remain loyal.

Carl
