Wrong again Tmrent! MM's can only see stops that are placed at their shop. If I'm SNDV, I can not see FAHN stops and he can not see mine. Most of the professional traders and day traders only use mental stops. Today's cascade in price was not because of stops. My guess is that someone very big did not like the UIS news and went for the door. If Market Makers could see everyone's stops, one can only imagine the market havoc that could and would be created. Players would be in short supply, and stops would never be used.
