Some more reading - another with a future time line - won't make the list though - the company being purchased could be full of debt. biz.yahoo.com Under the agreement, Equitex will acquire all of the outstanding capital stock of First Bankers in exchange for 1,000,000 shares of Equitex common stock, subject to adjustment based on current valuations, valuations subsequent to completion of the previously announced First TeleBanc Corp. acquisition and certain performance criteria. In addition, Equitex will make a working capital commitment to the ongoing entity. Closing of the acquisition is expected within the next 90 days
