I guess the positioning is pretty clear.

Fast K6-2's for desktop sub 1K market - Mhz sells marketplace.

K6-3's for laptops - should be an excellent laptop chip once in 0.18 micron.

K7's for higher end desktops and workstations.

Also the statement that 0.18 micron had started production was very positive IMHO.
