As the cost of money goes up ( the rate ) , sellers have to increase their selling price
of their products to sustain the higher cost of capital, so FED is actually put fuel on the flame of inflation by hiking the rate. You Guys probably still remember back in
the early 80s under the Carter administration, the rate is way high while the inflation is high too.
