Z man,
Seattle? You're planning to attend?? COOOL!!! Ok. That definitely settles it. Seattle is next. Ok, ok...Bdog and Ken are also major reasons to go too. >>gg<< Here's the date. 8/28. I'll be shifting into Seattle overdrive next week. That entails hotel selection, blocking off rooms, contract negotiations with the hotel sales department, lunch menu selection, hounding the sales department to make sure they are on top of things (hotels never fail to fail on this aspect), countless e-mail communication and, of course, record keeping. Thanks for the thought on Philly. It will be my 8th seminar and I think I've got it down pretty well by now. I'm still kind of pressed to give my best performance since I haven't received any constructive criticism (negative feedback?) as far as the information presented, the method of presentation, the lunch menu, the roundtable sessions, the atmosphere of camraderie or any lack of meeting expectations. The pressure to keep it up is...interesting...The interaction between all in attendance and the exchange of information makes it uniquely valuable to me as much as to everyone involved. The intellectual level and personal qualities of the people that attend these seminars is what really impresses me. Not only do the ideas presented get absorbed, but they are used as fodder to take things to a higher level. That aspect becomes even sharper in the months after a seminar as the market evolves within the particular technical framework presented. The main idea behind the seminars is to build a freight train behind a unique technical pool of understanding. It's only been 20 months of seminars so far. There's plenty more steam out there.
Ok...that's enough rambling...I look forward to meeting you on the weekend of 8/28 in Seattle.
