I am sure the market will view this as good news and push the price up tomorrow. It is great that Dell has made its plans very public. But it raises a question -

If Dell is going to use 2/3 of the chips through the end of 1Q2000 and there are other non-PC needs for the chips, doesn't that mean that Dell doesn't expect any other major box makers to seriously adopt Rambus until 2Q2000? Isn't that a slower ramp than we had expected?
