Well, I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but I took a little poetic license myself... You know how I like to tie it all together.

There once was a Count who lived in the Austrian Empire of Emperor Ferdinand. This Count was responsible for keeping all of the lines of communications working around the Kingdom. In those days, messages traveled just like they do today... in packets. But the Count's packets were written onto pieces of paper, and then sent from village to village by messengers on horseback.

Well, the Count was responsible for keeping all of the messengers in line, as well as making sure they had all of the needed horses, carts, food, supplies, etc. that would be necessary for delivering all of the packets to the final destinations. This was quite an undertaking, as the Empire just seemed to keep growing and growing. (The Austrian Empire used to include parts of Poland, Yugoslavia, Czech Republic and lots of other countries that are over there today.)

After some time on the job, the Count started to realize the power that he held, being the "Communications Manager" for the Emperor. You might say, he got a big head, and began to think of himself as more powerful than the Emperor himself. Well, that kind of thinking usually gets one into trouble, and it was not too long before the Emperor was asking the Count for some Official Documents for annexing additional countries and the such, and the Count decided not to provide the "messages."

This reluctance on the Count's part was just not acceptable! So the locals were summoned and the Count was placed before the crowd, charged with
"Failure to Communicate Effectively with Authorities." He was to be beheaded by a big brute, wielding a huge axe on the end of a long handle. The Emperor's duly appointed execution squad was watching over the procedure, and they offered the Count one last chance to provide the missing documents. He refused to provide the necessary information, [better communications] so the Axe Man was told to go ahead and do his thing.

The Axe Man, although very stout and strong, lifted the huge Axe high up in the air, and began to let it fall. Just then, the Count shouted out "WAIT! I'LL TELL!" But the Axe fell and cut the Count's head off.

The moral of this story is one that can be referenced to investments in companies like MRVC.... "Don't hatchet your Counts before they chicken."
