With this news and other rumors MCLL is likely to pop up today. After all expenses have been holding back MCLL... and this news will increase income without a large increase in expenses. Heat is on to get the stock price up. Short term gains seem available. Financials and market approach make the long view dubious though. Here are some of the grim DD issues I've found. Kris May, 1999 stockholders meeting gave permission to institute a reverse 2.5/1 split, if necessary, to boost the price above $5.00 in order to keep in compliance with NASDAQ rules and maintain the MCLL listing. The stock has to be above $5.00 for ten consecutive days by July 14th or it will be kicked off the NASDAQ. Read the recent SEC filings by MCLL for details Recent MCI-Skytel deal fueling buyout/takeover talks in articles on W Street, alluding to possible candidates, including some foreign companies. Arch/MMedia merger completed passes MCall as 2nd largest carrier. Top 3 execs rewarded with raises and multi-million dollar bonuses the last 3 years. A billion in total debt Expenses are far outweighing projected revenues latest report had loss projected to double at $90 Mil range Collins to buy Major League Baseball team and fulfill his life-long dream.
