Anacomp Announces Digital Services Agreement with Delta Air Lines For Online Management of Air-Cargo Flight Records

Anacomp's Internet Document Services Will Provide Delta

With Web-Based Storage and Access for Cargo Air Waybills

SAN DIEGO, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Anacomp(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: ANCO), a world leader in digital document-management services, today announced a five-year service agreement with Delta Air Lines(R) to provide online, web-based storage and delivery of cargo air waybills for Delta's domestic and international flights.

Under this agreement, Anacomp will capture, index, and transform the original air waybills and deliver the electronic images to Delta personnel throughout the company via standard web browsers and a specialized web site built and maintained by Anacomp. The images will be available on line for an initial 180 days then Anacomp will migrate the waybill images to CD for audit purposes and store the images on magnetic tape for disaster recovery and longer-term archive. The system will be operational for Delta domestic cargo locations by September 1, 1999.
