Interface Systems Releases eBill Manager(TM) Version 1.5 Software For Internet Billing

Company to Debut Software at Telestrategies Billing '99 Conference in Dallas

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Interface Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTF - news) today announced the release of its eBill Manager(TM) Version 1.5 application for Internet Billing. eBill Manager is designed to effectively blend legacy data with Internet billing systems, offering a rapid implementation model that takes advantage of the strategic opportunities offered by Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment. Interface will debut the application next week at the Telestrategies Billing '99 conference in Dallas, Tex.

''Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment continues to gain acceptance and momentum in the billing and banking communities. As more and more billers and banks realize the potential benefits of EBPP, they are looking for a solution that they can implement quickly and efficiently. Our eBill Manager product, combined with our expertise in accessing legacy data, provides a very powerful option for the companies who are ready to start implementing their own EBPP system,'' said Robert A. Nero, president and CEO at Interface.

Ralph Young, executive vice president of sales at TransPoint said, ''Interface's release of their eBill Manager software is particularly timely in relation to our recent release of TransPoint's online bill payment and delivery service. The majority of legacy billing information was originally written for print output and not for the Internet, and for many billers, that is the biggest stumbling block in implementing an online billing system. Interface's ability to handle legacy data and easily transform it to the requirements of our consolidation system have convinced us that they will continue to play an important role in the emerging Internet Billing market.'' Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP), Internet Bill Delivery and Payment (IBDP) and Internet Billing are all names for the same service: the electronic delivery of payments to customers via the Internet, and the subsequent remittance of payment for those bills over the Internet. Interface Systems' eBill Manager enables billers to take the information in their existing billing applications and make it available to a specific Internet billing system or platform.

Interface Systems, Inc. will exhibit eBill Manager at the Telestrategies Billing '99 conference in Dallas, Tex., June 28 through June 30. Company representatives will be available at Booth #604.
