I don't have a clue about any of this stuff on changing symbols, whether it causes shorts to have to cover or what. If it works that way the timing may be a bit premature?! However, I do like the idea of hitting the shorts with multiple "glitches" to their plan. Dry up the available shares to borrow against and force them to cover early, counter downward pressure with very positive news and then change the ticker symbol to cause further covering to account for shares plus attract additional attention to the stock. Nothing like kicking your opponent when he is down just to make sure he stays there! All together this might just work! GO ECNC!!!
