Good call Nasdaq777! I suppose the signs were there from the VSTR side of things considering the size of the war chest they had been building for over a year. Anybody have info regarding VSTR and Hutchinson to fill in those of us that don't know?

The question now becomes one of cashing in our gains shortly after the merger or waiting for the consolidation of US GSM to evolve. I am reminded of the early days of the cable TV consolidation. I was fortunate to see the promise of high speed internet access for that group and it turned out very well for me. There you had competing technologies in the form of satellite access, ISDN and ADSL from the telcos and then the cable. Here we have multiple flavors of GSM, CDMA and TDMA. I am not an engineer so I welcome better informed opinions on this but it seems that GSM is better suited for data transmission. Even if it is not it has a large base worldwide and ought to be able to hold its own.

That's the long term hold argument, short term who knows. Any comments on the GSM network - cable lines analogy?

In the meantime, congrats to all! This group has been through a lot and I think we deserve it!

Good investing,
John
