LANGHORNE, Pa., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- DIGITAL DESCRIPTOR SYSTEMS, INC.
(OTC Bulletin Board: DDSI), a leading manufacturer and marketer of digitized
imaging systems for the criminal justice and security markets, has been
awarded a contract for its SI-3000 by the State of Rhode Island Department of
Administration. The SI-3000 is a systems integrated imaging system which will
be used state-wide for the Department of Corrections. "This order, when
completed by the end of the 4th quarter, will bring our sales on systems
integration to nearly $2 million so far this year," Garrett Cohn, President,
stated.
This is the second state-wide software contract received by DDSI for the
SI-3000 (first was the Department of Corrections, State of Colorado) allowing
various jurisdictions to access data from different hardware and software
platforms throughout the state.
The SI-3000 is built around an Internet process and allows for direct 24-
hour access from any approved PC on the network. Regardless of what hardware
or software platforms are employed by the various law enforcement agencies,
officers and officials can view all data from patrol cars, distant court rooms
and other remote locations.
SI-3000 is designed to be compatible with all existing hardware and
software applications used by various agencies at the state, county and local
levels making it unnecessary for each jurisdiction to develop its own custom
software to access the system.

introducing its technology into other commercial markets such as financial,
