Galaxy Enterprises, Inc. Signs Contract with eBay

OREM, Utah, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Galaxy Enterprises, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLXY - news) announced it has entered into a contract with eBay, Inc. (Nasdaq: EBAY - news), the Internet's premier online trading community, to use its revolutionary, high-speed, search engine, MatchSite.com (http://www.matchsite.com). eBay sought out Galaxy in its ongoing effort to increase traffic to its site.

Dahlen Downing, Director of MatchSite.com, said, ''eBay seeks relationships and has independent contracts with well-known Internet companies such as America Online, Infoseek, Lycos, Netscape and WebTV. We are delighted to have a contract with eBay and think it will help each of us achieve our goals. MatchSite.com is quickly becoming recognized as one of the top search engines on the Internet, and I'm confident that we will drive substantial additional traffic to eBay, which will result in additional revenue for Galaxy.''

Business Week's (http://www.businessweek.com) cover story ''EBAY vs. AMAZON'' quoted eBay, Inc. CEO Jeffery P. Bezos, ''...I think this is one of the most misunderstood things about E-commerce. There aren't going to be a few winners. There are going to be tens of thousands of winners...'' (Business Week, May 31, 1999, p. 140). Galaxy CEO, John J. Poelman said ''We believe Bezos is correct. It has been obvious for a very long time that tens of thousands of E-commerce companies will be winners, and we've positioned ourselves beautifully by building one of the most technologically advanced search engines on the Web, as well as a 2,200 merchant store front Internet mall that offers thousands of products and services. Our biggest fear now is being taken over by an E-Giant at a ridiculously low multiple.''

About MatchSite.com

MatchSite.com (http://www.matchsite.com) allows Internet users to browse the Web and find sites of interest, but is unique and stands out from other search engines because of its technological advantage which searches nine other leading search engines including Yahoo!, Infoseek, Lycos, Excite, Magellan, Snap, WebCrawler, Alta Vista and HotBot. MatchSite.com then returns the response to the user organized into a uniform format, ranked by relevance.
