Fred,

I tryed to get some interest in discussing GNET last night (post 8219) but only one taker.

I watch CNNfN every morning and they said there still appeared to be market jitters about the interest rate increase next week. I don't get it because we have a good idea of the worst case scenario (.25 point increase) and it is already factored in to the market valuation. As a matter of fact, an analyst (Charles Leiberman) said the market is already priced on the basis of a .50 point increase. So why all the jitters?

On the bright side, another analyst (Peter Cardillo) said that tech stocks are the place to be. He said we are just in a waiting period and as 2nd quarter earnings come out (which the analysts believe will be better than expected) the sector will take off. He commented that with the impact tech staocks are having on lowering productivity costs, it is the sector to be in.
