A review of the April 30 news release has as table with the average thickness for each block drilled. If you calculate the tonnage for each block with more than a 2 meter average thickness, and total the tonnages, this indicates that the tonnage under Snap Lake where drilled up to late April is a combination of a "drill proven" and "drill indicated" resource of about 17 million tonnes. At that time, it was indicated that 2 drill would continue drilling on the north shore.....assuming 1 drill hole per week per drill rig, and knowing that one rig broke down a while back, I guess they have about 10 more drill holes on 400 meter centres.....IF 8 of these holes penetrated kimberlite at least 2.5 meters thick, an additional 8 million tonnes could possibly be added to the resource, bringing the total up to about 25 million tonnes and open(I have heard rumors of up to twice this amount or 40 to 50 million tonnes-perhaps the thickening trend continues on the north shore)......As for CF results, perhaps we will get the data up to late April-early May as this takes time....The CF data is important however, because it may be possible for Winspear to build a statistical model for grade prediction, after all the results for the pits are in.
