...today I'm not taxed directly by the UN, That is taxation without representation... It seems to me that is the least of the worries of any form of UN taxation. So long as the UN is funded by more or less voluntary contributions from member states, it is what it was intended to be; a forum to discuss and work out differences among nations. Once it has the power to tax, though, it also has the power to rule. And I don't like that idea at all. jim
