Old news - the ATM/IP/MPLS battle will continue for years. All data networks will begin to use MPLS enabled routers this year and next. However, the overwhelming number of networks carry voice as well and this produces 80% of revs. ATM is the only proven, mature protocol that can carry every type of information. Major carriers like Sprint, Williams and others have bet big on ATM. I have studied this very closely and believe me, ATM sales are as robust as ever. BD
