The Hawaii constitution and supreme court have declared ... even the right of two people of the same sex to be married Did the ever actually declare it? The original decision was simply to send the matter back to the lower court to force the govenment to show that the prohibitition against same sex marriage was of compelling state interest. Did it ever get back to the state Supreme Court for a final ruling? The next battleground, of course, will be polygamy. Why CAN'T a woman have two husbands if she can service and support them both?
