Rocky -

Sandisk introduces a new flash format, eh? Hmmm. Let's see what happens when I run that news item through my Detractomatic software.

processing, please stand by . . .

OK, here we go:

I thought CompactFlash was supposed to be the standard. Now they are going to cannibalize their own sales and confuse the marketplace with a whole new format that isn't even compatible with the old one. Sandisk's price to sales ratio is way too high. Their stock is on its way down, fast. Get out now before it's too late.

You'll notice my copy of Detractomatic is set differently from yours. I have set mine to SANDISK=BAD.

BTW, just a little news flash for you. Iomega's Clik! drive is NOT larger than the whole MP3 player that news release talks about. Check out a PCMCIA card and you'll see.
