Greetings shareholders. I just had a 1/2 hour long discussion with Bill Spears (V.P.) from Syconet. I will try to give all of you an idea of the exciting things we discussed without disclosing a couple of things that he requested I "keep the lid on" for a couple of weeks. (They are registering certain "net domains" which need to be kept private).
First the basic:
1) There are roughly 9,000,000 shares in the company. Sy & Bill control 6,500,000. 2,500,000 are in the public float but nearly 500,000 of those are restricted as well. (can't remember why).
2) KIDE is the U.S. Licensee to have Pokemon product manufactured. KIDE farms out the manufacturing of their product.
3) SYCD gets their product from Japan. Their source for this product is TOMY. This includes Plushies (huge demand), wind up toys and any other commodity that SYCD believes will sell well.
4) SYCD sells, via Pioneer and others, ANY Pokemon, Dragonballz and Sailor Moon children videos. These videos can be manufactured anywhere. U.S. or Japan. The KIDE license agreement apparently has no bearing on the video market. ( That means that if a Pokemon video is released this year, SYCD will be able to sell these tapes as well. Can you say... Little Mermaid, Antz, BugsLife, etc... I know my wife will be buying this for the kids collection. Why not, we have all the others!)
5) They are currently selling product on line at: www.altvidwar.com
As I mentioned, SYCD is securing more domain names which will be built exclusively for children when they reference Pokemon. These should be up and running within the next week or two.
6) SYCD is attending a trade show in the next few days and they have news to release but Bill did not want to specify the nature of this news. (as MM says No-Duh). My gut tells me it is financial related and/or internet related dealings.
7) SYCD is taking the initial steps to achieve NASDQ listing.
Well folks, that's all my tired fingers can muster for now. Mr Spears is very professional and I have only the highest regard for this company.
I will try to answer all of your questions as Mr. Spears is being inundated with questions from brokers and investors. He is very pleased with our interest.
We all know something is up, now we just have to accumulate and wait! We are in great hands here folks!!!!
