Early last summer I was in superior court with a legal position against an attorney that was being heard by the professional conduct committee. There at the other table sat the attorney in question...with his attorney. On my side sat little me, alone and left to defend my own position by myself. I didn't think I stood a chance facing all those attorneys in a world quite foreign to me, but I was prepared and ready to take them on as best I could, lay person and "blonde" that I am. And wonder of wonders...I WON, and on all counts! What a trip that was!!! I'd NEVER seen an attorney grovel, but I did that day!
