OT -- Lucky me! I got post #666 in the Nostradamus thread!

That random chance event alone must make me an expert in doomand gloom -- ha ha ha.

Seriously, wonder how all this millenial madness with affect the Global Capital Markets? Y2K should make some messes, but not enough for TEOTWAWKI. Government bureaucracies around the world will get mired down with messed up systems, but that may be a good thing with the exception of the FAA.

But, then again the superstitious/religious fanatics will interprete any sort of mess as confirmtaion of their divinely inspired prophecy. The Heaven's Gate folks went nuts with just a pretty comet. How many nut-cases hyperventilating over small Y2K glitches would it take to get a global melt-down going?

Could be one fun party!
