I love stock options! <VBG> But, the high tech industry is less than 2% of the entire labor force. Also, when wealth is concentrated on fewer hands, spending on the average goes down (another reason why huge wage disparity is an economic menace in addition to a social one). So, yes, as far as inflation is concerned the labor statistics is lying, but just a little bit.
