reseller, another point about cohodes. how many respectable analysts run around making interviews about selling Stocks under $5. none, but him.

Iomega stated they'll make a profit in the third and fourth qtrs. not too hard to figure out. they could quit selling the jaz drive altogether and sell only the disks. 60% profit margin immediately. or you cut down on jaz production, clear out inventory, and a similar but smaller effect. although cohodes has stated that Iomega stated that the zip line is shrinking in sales, Iomega didn't say that (this Cohodes' line of reprinted by CBS marketwatch, by Yahoo, etc.). they said they were short parts and couldn't meet the demand that was there and a couple zip lines. it's mainly all about proper management of the assets that are there, while cost effective management of new products. we don't know what affect buying direct over the net will have on IOM's bottom line, but needless to say, it shouldn't be negative.

i'm not in love with this company anymore than any other; i don't see where cohodes gets his rocks off on presenting a constant negative outlook.
